2. Information Stored Locally

The app stores the following information locally on your device only:

  • Wallpaper Data: Metadata about wallpapers (titles, descriptions, URLs) fetched from Bing API, stored in a local SQLite database
  • Downloaded Images: Wallpaper images you choose to download are saved to your device’s Pictures folder or your selected location
  • Application Settings: Your preferences such as selected region, preferred resolution, and theme settings
  • Application Logs: Diagnostic logs for troubleshooting purposes, stored locally for up to 30 days

Note: All this data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

  • Purpose: Fetch daily wallpaper information and metadata
  • Data Sent: API request parameters (region code, resolution, date)
  • Data Received: Wallpaper metadata (title, description, image URLs, copyright information)

2. Bing CDN (www.bing.com)

  • Purpose: Download wallpaper images
  • Data Sent: Standard HTTP request headers
  • Data Received: Image files

3. GitHub API (api.github.com)

  • Purpose: Synchronize wallpaper archive data from our public repository
  • Data Sent: Standard API requests

How We Use Information

The information collected is used solely for:

  1. Core Functionality: Displaying and managing Bing daily wallpapers
